How to Choose a First Date Movie

If you have ever gone to the movies on a date you know that choosing a movie can be very difficult. You want to make sure that your date is going to like the movie, but at the same time you need to ensure that you are not going to be bored out of your mind. The best way to choose a good movie for a first date is by asking the other person what kind of movie they like best. Think about it, at any given time there are 20 to 30 movies playing at your local theater. You should be able to find something that you both agree on.

Try to pick something that is middle of the road. You do not want to make any off the wall suggestions.Just because you like horror movies with lots of gore, does not mean that your date will. You will have the most success if you choose a mild mannered movie that garnered good ratings. This way you at least know that the critics liked it.

You will have a better chance of your date liking the movie if it was highly rated in the public's eye. Overall, choosing a first date movie is always going to be difficult. But by keeping the lines of communication open you should be able to find something that suits both of your needs.
